Military Tribute Wall at the Quicken Loans National

Held annually just outside historic Washington, D.C., and hosted by the Tiger Woods Foundation, this tournament, which is frequented by Fortune 500 business leaders and senior government leadership, has 120 top PGA Tour professionals participating, with 30,000 active duty service members invited to attend. Attendees, veterans, and their families can write a personal message of thanks to our servicemen and women at bases stationed at home and overseas.

The Military Mentorship Program

The United State Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) and their Olympic Athletes work together with service members and veterans in the Military Mentorship Program. The athletes and service members motivate, inspire and learn from each other during a comprehensive, year-round program. Program events are highlighted on NBC/NBC Sports Network.

Salute to Sports Veterans

A syndicated TV show showcasing distinguished athletes who fought for our country and defended our freedoms. Past participants have included Yogi Berra (U.S. NAVY, New York Yankees, Catcher), Jerry Coleman (U.S. Mariners, New York Yankees, Second Baseman), and John Miles (U.S. AIR FORCE, Chicago American Giants, Outfielder).

The Wounded Warrior Experience

A one-hour TV special honors wounded troops from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps who are returning from combat overseas and facing extraordinary challenges in transitioning to civilian life.

National Memorial Day Parade

A salute to America’s heroes from our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C.; 300,000 spectators in to support and salute nearly 3,000 service members, veterans and patriots from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard.

Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team

A special team of America’s combat veterans from the U.S. ARMY, U.S. NAVY, U.S. MARINES, and U.S. AIR FORCE consisting of single and double amputees united together in exhibition softball games versus able-bodied teams to show “Life without a Limb is Truly Limitless.”

National Independence Day Parade

A celebration of America’s birthday in our nation’s capital on Independence Day, The National Independence Day Parade takes place annually in Washington, D.C., with over 250,000 spectators along the parade route with patriotic tributes, celebrity appearances, brands and military/veteran parade elements.
